The Buffalo Niagara Community Tennis Association (BNCTA) was formed in 2001 as nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting tennis in Western New York. The main function it to help grow the game of tennis and to help service the area’s tennis needs at a community level. The BNCTA, as an umbrella organization seeks to enhance the social and recreational benefits of tennis. Making tennis accessible to everyone at the community level is a core goal. The BNCTA looks forward to continued partnership with the tennis community, old and new, to develop a pathway for tennis activities that will benefit all.

WHERE ARE WE NOW?
On Tuesday, February 29, 2008, the Buffalo Niagara Tennis Association (BNCTA) embarked on a new mission--one that they hoped would enhance the hearts and lives of many Western New York families, touched by autism. The “Shining Stars” adaptive tennis program, as it was fondly named, officially broke ground in 2009, when it became part of the after school program at Summit Educational Resources, a prestigious, academic institution well known for its work with children diagnosed with autism.
